Mac and Beans Medley

				Ingredients
- 4 garlic cloves
 
- 1 bell pepper (any color)
 
- 2 tablespoons oil
 
- 1 can (14–15 oz) tomatoes
 
- 1 can (15.5 oz) beans, drained and rinsed
 
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
 
- 2 cups cooked macaroni or other pasta
 
Instructions
- Peel and chop garlic. Core, seed, and chop bell pepper.
 
- Heat oil in skillet over medium-high. Add garlic and pepper. Cook 1 minute (don’t brown garlic).
 
- Add undrained tomatoes and pepper flakes.
 
- Cover and cook 10 minutes on low heat until sauce thickens slightly.
 
- Add beans and cooked pasta. Cook 5 more minutes or until heated through.
